Jami
was the only cast member that didn't live in the Ottawa area,
and the way he got on the show was a bit different from the
others.

Price had seen Jami on a reservation and saw that he had spunk.
However, when Price decided that he wanted Jami for the show,
there was no way of tracking him down. One day, while looking
in the newspaper, Price stumbled upon a picture of Jami on
the cover of a newspaper and contacted the paper. After getting
a hold of Jami, Price talked him into joining the cast. Jami
also had a fear of flying, so flying him to and from the set
was always quite an experience.
