In 1986, we said "good-bye" to long-time host, Christine McGlade, after she fulfilled her contract obligations five episodes into the season, and Alasdair Gillis became the official host. Incidentally, this was also Alasdair's last season on the show. This year welcomed four new regular cast members - Andrea Byrne, Amyas Godfrey, Matthew Godfrey, and Alanis Morissette.

Fairy Tales, Myths, & Legends
In the 1986 season premiere, the gang takes a look at everything from The Sword in the Stone to the legend of Robin Hood. This episode introduces Amyas Godfrey.

Alasdair is convinced he can become a rock star. This episode introduces Alanis Morissette.
Know-It-Alls
This episode introduces Matthew Godfrey as the "nerdy know-it-all."
Parties
The gang try to convince Ross to throw a big party on the set. They succeed, but end up celebrating with cardboard cake and spring wat ... uh ... liquid.
Garbage
In Christine McGlade's final show, the sanitation workers go on strike and the studio becomes a staging area for the city's garbage. Nothing like Christine going out of the studio in a garbage bag in her final scene.
TV Commercials
In the first episode of the second premiere week, the gang visits Wink Chippendale's School of Commercial Acting and attempt to sell a few of Ross' faulty products in between very well written commercial parodies.
Country
It's Hatfield vs. McCoy as the gang milk cows and feed chickens.
Back to School
Ross gets bit by the studio schooling bug as he teaches the gang to spell, solve chemical equations and carry the decimal point.
Illness
The green slime flu strikes all who utter the magic words.
Enemies & Paranoia
Ross and the gang prepare for the arrival of the Soviets and their new show, "Don't Do That On Television, Comrade."
Savings
Alasdair and Adam fight over the new girl on the set while pondering how to have enough money to buy a car when he turns sixteen.
Contests
While Matthew counts jelly beans in order to win a counting contest at the mall, Alasdair enters a "slime-in" contest.
Censorship
The censor board discovers the show and uses bleep machines and black boxes in an attempt to clean it up.

After the gang lose their jobs, Naida's father hires them as her servant.

It's all about rabbit's feet and horseshoes as the gang rely on their charms for luck.
Part-Time Jobs
A hilarious recurring scene with Adam Reid and Abby Hagyard is one of the highlights in this look at the job market for kids.

The cast and crew try to stay awake after an all-night taping session is called.

The gang talks about the fun and comforts of home.
Discipline
In order to promote discipline, Ross becomes a drill sergeant on the set.
