Pre-empted
Show: Mr. Rogers: Neighborhood Pusher
Christine
announces that the show is about drugs, but they can't
*really* make it about drugs or they'll get taken
off the air. So, custard pies are substituted. She
insists that she isn't addicted to drugs ... err,
pies, but Kevin, Mike and Angie obviously are, and
they try to get her to splat pies. Mike and Kevin
discuss another TV show about drugs -- Laurel and
Hardy. Moose tries to warn Mike of the danger of moving
on to "bigger things ... like green slime,"
but, of course, he already is splooshing slime. Angie,
Kevin and Mike pay Christine back for not being pied
during the show, and Ross tries to sell pies to the
kids, even after the show is over.

DID
YOU NOTICE?
- Only
the 28-minute version of this episode exists.
- The
"production" shot (Mike getting pied under
the voice over saying "this has been a pie
in the face production") was a live, on air
surprise to Mike Lyon. He was merely told that they
were doing the closing credits, and they needed
him to stand in front of a camera...little did he
know that he would get a surprise pie in the face.

QUOTES
Senator
Prevert: Where do you think you're going?
You look like you're going to a wedding!
Kevin: I am!
Senator Prevert: Oh, who's getting
married?
Kevin: Me! You know how you told me that
I can't, y'know, do it with girls, until after I get
married? Well, I'm getting married! See ya later,
Dad. Can't keep the church waiting. |
