Pre-empted
Show: There is
no pre-empted show. However, there is a disclaimer
that reads: "The following program contains certain
scenes which may not be suitable for mature audiences;
Juvenile discretion is advised."
The
show opens with Christine complaining that she isn't
focused but Ross is, and claims it's discrimation
against her age. This introduces us to the "Inequalities"
theme where the gang looks at how they're treated
by adults because of their age. The adult dressing
room is caught on fire, and the women and children
get the privilege to go first ... to put the fire
out.
Because
the adult show next door is more important than any
ol' kids show, they moved their wardrobe to the kids'
dressing room and commandeered the kids' clothes (as
their own clothes were burnt too). The kids had to
wear barrels until they get their clothes back ...
for $10 each person. Finally, in the end, the kids
have the opportunity to take over the technicians'
jobs behind the scenes ... for a fee of $10 each for
Ross.

DID
YOU NOTICE?
- Studio
masters and home video recordings are both in existence.
- Some
of the staff on the show were confused when the
script contained a sketch with absolutely no dialogue
and Christine is drenched with water for "no
reason." It wasn't until later when everyone
finally understood that it's the previous sketch
with a family on the hot-air balloon that caused
the water to fall on Christine as she sits on the
link set. Valerie dumps out the liquid in the can
that Lance was drinking to get rid of the weight,
and Christine gets hit.
- In
the dungeon, Nasti states that nobody can accuse
him of discrimination because he has captured a
white (Hodgkins), a black (Brodie), a hispanic (Eugene)
and a girl (Liz). He has four prisoners, yet, if
one looks closely, there are still only two sets
of chains (for the main prisoner and Hodgkins).
Brodie and Eugene have their arms up but nothing
holds them to the wall.

CLASSIC
QUOTES
Ross:
And cue!
Christine: Wait a minute ... hold
it! How come you're in focus and I'm not? That's discrimination.
Ross: No it isn't.
Christine: Yes it is. I bet you're
being focused because the camera man knows yours older
and more important or something. This stuff happens
to us kids all the time and I demand to be focused.
Ross: Christine, Christine. This
has nothing to do with your age, nothing to do with
mine. It's money.
Christine: Oh I get it, how much
do I have to pay you?
Ross: No, it's the camera. If we
focus the camera on you, we're afraid it'll wreck
the tubes and that certainly costs a lot of money.
That means we can't do it ... and cue!
Christine: Forget it, come on. Focus
the camera!
(She's focused and the TV screen breaks)
