Here's a question that I don't believe has been asked before.....

What is your favorite set? Which is your least favorite? List up to three!

Here are my top three favorites!
1.) Link set--This is just classic!
2.) Barth's Burgery
3.) Lockers

Not so top three
1.) Front Lawn
2.) Movie Theater
3.) Doctors Office

My favorite sets are the link set and the living room. Least favorite- the dungeon. I can't believe the dungeon has lasted the whole series (except 1990).

I don't think the link set or the lockers should count - it is just an understood because they were institutions :-)

My faves -
Blip's Arkaid
Lance's secret gambling casino :-) sorry couldn't resist
the disco dance floor - Freak Out!!

My not-so-faves
The baseball bench
Anything with a chroma key (Moose's vacation beach, the forest in Nature, etc)

Lance had a secret gambling casino?

It's in Inequalities (.... or Discrimination... or Kids vs. Adults, whatever you want to call it) and the gambling casino was in Jennifer White's bedroom closet, where Les and Valerie sneak into while she's asleep.

Can't think of specific favourites, however the church skits thankfully were few and far between. I never expected anything worth remembering in those scenes, turning my attention away and think it was a good idea to never revisit that set. I'm not deeply spiritual and I didn't know that the pastor had creepy undertones to him but I still enjoyed those bits and that scene the least.

Question--has the Prevert house ever been mapped out logically according to the various room sets? Anyone thought long and hard about whether the door from one room to another makes linear sense in a conventional home layout? Has this ever been discussed before?

"Institution" or not, the Link Set was my favorite. I'm also partial to the space shuttle set and the camp-out set, because they built those for me. :D

Blip's was by far the most miserable set for me to write for. And they should never have given Roger a bathroom set.

Even if it goes without saying, I still have to mention the Link Set... Nothing else comes close. However, some distant favorites would be the classroom, the living room, and Barth's.

My least favorites were the prehistoric set and the dentist's office.. The doctor was far superior to the dentist, who seemingly had nothing but gross-out jokes, and the prehistoric skits were too bland and uninspired to even bother with..

You know, Mr. Mistoffeles sure has a point there.

OK, enough of me trying to become the next Lance Prevert.

My top 3--very obvious choices:

1) The link set--That "dome" concept Geoffrey Darby talked about at the first SlimeCon, priceless memories. I didn't really care much on how "Project 131" tried to recreate it digitally speaking. But, in my opinion...nothing will EVER beat the original. Hands down, that set provided a solid majority of the most memorable clips for me being a child of the 1980's.

2) Blip's Arkaid. Makes me want to talk to him about how to make change, let alone kill time on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Say what you want there.

3) Mr. Schidtler's classroom. Especially everytime he always intentionally misspelled the most basic of words, like "Studint Counsil" or Lake Tittykakah at the beginning of the Rumors episode in 1983.

My three worst sets:

1) Dentist office, skits were mostly too sickening to watch.
2) Detention hall, the only fun was seeing the kids recite the too familiar "Sometimes, it's so easy, I'm ashamed of myself" line before closing the door.
3) Tie between Camp (indoors or out) and Nasti's Dungeon, too dark and too smoky-- at times you couldn't see the person who was in shackles.

My favorite sets were the link set, the living room, and the dungeon, my least favorites were the prehistoric cave (I mean, come on! Didn't anyone else notice that virtually every single joke was the same?!), Blip's, and the dentist.
