Shhhh.. it's a SECRET!! :)

(well, it was before the end of SlimeCon...)

Seriously though, Projust 131was a fan produced "finale" show for YCDTOTV. It was actually shot just before and during SC04.

If you didn't get to see it, you missed out on a real treat. Oficially, Project 131 was a one-time experience, due to various copyright stuff, it has been never made available on the 'net. However, rumor has it that somewhere in the YCDTOTV vault, there exists a copy of Project 131....

Oh, you may be asking, why the name "Project 131?" -- YCDTOTV had 130 official episodes... and this was the final episode that never was made :)

YCDTOTV had 130 official episodes

You Can't had 143 official episodes. Only 130 episodes have master copies at CJOH. My take on the name is that it's the 131st master recording. Josh?

I see. Was this a original script or fan made? This intrigues me.

It was entirely fan made and included some of the original YCDTOTV cast members... of course, they were now all grown up. :)

Josh Yawn (one of the people behind the project) had a website up with information about Project 131, but it appears the website is down.

My take on the name is that it's the 131st master recording.

That works for me. The reunion episode was filmed and mostly edited in CJOH Studio's A and D. Principal photography took place during the Tuesday preceeding the SlimeCon 2004 convention, editing took place over the following days leading to Sunday, with some additional photography on Friday night (during the convention). It featured Vanessa Lindores-Farah, Brodie Osome and Marjorie Silcoff, with cameos from Alasdair Gillis and Justin Cammy.

The official website for the program can be found here:

Our listing on IMDB can be found here:

For those curious as to the whereabouts of the "master" copy of the reunion episode, it does indeed rest in the vault at CJOH, with the other 130 YCDTOTV masters. These two pictures were taken on the Monday following the SC'04 convention by none other than Jim Clarke.

The episode itself was only shown to the public two times, on the Sunday during the convention -- shown twice to the same convention attendees. As others have mentioned, it hasn't been released to the public yet because of the original show footage contained within.

David pretty much covered the bases. But, 131 was given that number because it was the 131st to follow the 81-90 format. It seemed a little more solid than calling it Project 144 simply because then you could also factor in WTYO, and other assorted things and to me, 131 just seemed right.

As for it being a "fan" production, it wasn't a hokey fan fiction or anything like that. Despite the fact that we're all also fans, we all work in television (and film in David's case) and it was a professionally produced, broadcast ready show produced within the CJOH studios, authorized by CJOH. We had as many cast/crew members as could possibly attend and with some last minute cancelations, we filled gaps as best we could because at the time of taping, it had to be presented in a matter of days. Thanks to David's wonderful directing and quick editing, it went off without a hitch.

It was nothing short of a battle to get people on board and get proper clearances but we did the impossible and it was worth it. It's something I'm very proud to have produced and I hope that it surfaces in the very near future in a possibly revamped form. I have a feeling that it might in one way or another.

Even thought the official site it down, the Internet Time Machine has kept most of the images: http://web.archive.org/web/20060528190207/http://project131.com/

You can find it on youtube.
