Hello, everyone in the Locker Room.

Today, October 8, 2007 Columbus Day is observed in America (mostly in coastal cities, plus the banks and post office are closed). However, today is also Thanksgivng in Canada.

I know this might be a silly question, but does all of Canada celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving? I ask this probably because of naivete about Canadian Thanksgiving.

I would like to know more about Canadian Thanksgiving (the history, the traditional dishes, etc.)

Please feel free to elaborate, if you're not too drowsy from too much turkey. :D

Thanks, nona5000. That was very helpful. I did not know that the first Canadian Thanksgiving predates the first American Thanksgiving by more than 40 years.

Yet another little chapter in the continuing saga of...Freducation!! :D

See you later, Ally-gator! (Sorry I couldn't think of something more clever.)
