Count Duckula - Duckula Release Coming?

Rumors of a Count Duckula release have been floating around the 'net for the past few months. It was assumed that A&E would release the show, since they recently licensed a few shows from FreemantleMedia, including The Wind in the Willows, a Cosgrove/Hall production. Jano Rohleder, webmaster of Duckula Online did some research and found out that Capital Entertainment will release the set in the US. The release is rumored to be coming this September. David Lambert mentioned the FreemantleMedia/Capital Entertainment connection in a news posting regarding American Idol.

Our friend Jano Rohleder, webmaster of Duckula Online has received some information about the Duckula release directly from Capital Entertainment. The first release, tentatively scheduled for release in October, will include all 26 episodes from the first season on 3 discs. The company is producing extras for the set, but it's unknown what those will be.

That's all we know for now, but stay tuned.

Ah yes, I got that too. I just forgot to post it. IK'll definitely be getting it. It will be neat to be able to watch Count Duckula and Danger Mouse back to back (I just got my Danger Mouse DVD and I love it).
