I remember Bananaman/Dangermouse...it used to be on either before or after YCDTOTV, in '86 when most of my YCs were taped. There are a couple of partial DM/BM shows on those old tapes, cause I had set the tape to start too early or let it run too long afterwards. Bananaman had a pretty catchy theme song if I remember right.

Yes, Bananaman was on Nick. It was another BBC cartoon series that was supposed to be a companion show to Dangermouse, but it wasn't nearly as successful in the US.
