  • Livewire

apparently in the early 80's Nickelodeon had a talk show for kids called "livewire" I read the wikipedia entry about the show and it said the cast of you can't do that on television made a guest apperance.

Anybody know about this? more importantly did anybody actually SEE this?

Can you put it up on YouTube? I'm sure we'd all like to see it (if it's not too much to ask! ).

Les Lye, Lisa Ruddy, and Kevin Kubusheskie. I believe Les told a story during one (or maybe both) of the Slimecons about an experience that had at the airport heading to or from the taping. I forget the details, so maybe someone else can share that.

If I remember it correctly, on the flight home from the taping, they encountered bad weather, and Lisa squeezed Les's hand in fear, but Kevin was like "Hey. How about that!", as if they WEREN'T about to be involved in a plane wreck. When they got off the plane, Kevin turned to the nervous pilot and said, in his typical way, "Quite a trip, eh?" That's what I remember of the story, anyway.

            ..........

It was a lot funnier when Les told it...

The segment itself runs about 8 or 9 minutes into one episode, and their interviews on set lasted about 10 minutes. Quite fun banter between Les, Kevin, and the host of the show.
