Nickelodeon has something on their website now called TurboNick, in which you can watch the programming online. Within TurboNick is a section called NickRewind where you can watch the classic programming. Clarissa, Guts, Alex Mack, Pete and Pete and more are there, and it's updated weekly. I'd say this a nice middle of the road compromise for now.
