YCDTOTV "Studio D" demolished

Studio D 1.jpg For those who haven't been to the reunion conventions to visit the studio, I will tell you what your looking at. Two thirds of Studio D is demolished in this shot. In the back corner you can see one of the large wooden studio doors leading to the backstage area. Just to the left of the words John Deere is a door frame and window . This was the cast entrance usually seen behind the "coffee cart" in many off set scenes. The link set dome would have been to the extreme right just out of this picture.

I have the locker doors, firing squad post and one dining room chair (with slime on it) in my basement along with other various memorabilia (green slime soap etc)

Sad to see the studios where some great television shows were made is now coming down. Any idea when the demolition began?

From the pictures (thanx for them, BTW), it looks as if the demolition began about two months ago. Maybe I'm wrong there.

Kind of reminds me of Tiger Stadium when it was demolished. We all knew they'd never play there again, but it seems that it's not until you see it in ruins that the finality of it really sinks in.

You have the firing squad post in your basement? Dude that rocks! I'd be standing in front of it all day saying "Ready...Aim...What is it this time?!" lol
