What's left looking from the original (1961) front of the building. Studio "D" would have been where the big grey dumpster on the right is. Studio"A" (convention studio) was where the yellow dumpster is in the center. All that is really left is the dressing room area on the right.
Wow. Not much left of the old station now.
Pretty much the only places left to remind people that CJOH was there is the Bear radio station and the Dairy Queen across the street.
I just saw this picture on CTV Ottawa's Twitter feed.
The building at 1500 Merivale Road, which housed such great shows such as YCDTOTV, has now been reduced to this:

in this picture you see the elevator shaft still standing. The building is now completely gone and the property is almost cleared. The YCDTOTV studio was where the twisted metal is in front of the yellow bin. In fact that is probably right where the studio door and coffee cart would be.

So sad. The studio may be gone, but we will never say goodbye to the memories.
I am sure some TV Hall of Fame would love to have some of the pics of the times we remember so fondly. Just a thought.

It shows plans for the redevelopment of the land which, until two months ago, was the site of the old CJOH studios.
Oh my, that would be a major change. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
