Bit of a technical question-but at what point in the show did they start doing cut-aways during the slime bits? I think back in the early days when someone got the slime they would either just get slimed in one static shot, and then someone would react to it-or they would show two kids in the frame would watch while the other got slimed.
As we all know and have talked about, the show loved to show kids taking pleasure in the other kids misofrtunes-but from clips I've seen online it seems like at some later point in the show they started doing specific cut-aways -like they would show slime dumping on someone, then cut to the other kid laughing hysterically at them, then back to the slime victim again.
In the one scene where that one guy gets the "longest slime ever" they seem to cut away to girls laughing at him-and in the one where Vanessa comes back to the show -and they slime her because she said "I don't know" a long time ago and they still owe her a sliming, in that one I think they cut away to someone laughing at her prediciment too.
Just wondering if that happened a lot more later on and how often it did-and why they started it. I really don't remember it happening before 85.
