No green slime as Nickelodeon would sue us blind. Dungeon skits have been used in other comedies so that's a thought

why don't you use something similar to-but not called green slime. Perhaps the yellow yuck? Or blue goop?

actually, and I had this idea before-but you should treat it like the gong show-have different charcters say corny jokes put on corny skits-then drop them down a trapdoor to the dungeon or hook them off stage and throw them in the dungeon-then when they are down there, you can slime them with whatever you want or pie them as punishment. That way Nick can't say it's a copy of anything they've done since they've never used that format.

Good luck, Greg. My vote is, don't worry too much about trying to recreate anything particular about the original; just stick to its spirit and you will do fine. I can't wait to see what you come up with (once it becomes official, that is).
