YCDTOTV on VH1's "I Love the 80s"

I just saw a commercial for the next installment of "I Love the 80s," and they showed a few of the folks (Hal Sparks included) who say, "I don't know" and get slimed. I knew they couldn't ignore the fact that YCDTOTV had a huge impact on the 80s. I don't know when the new series of I Love the 80s starts airing, but I think it's next week. Just thought I would share the good news with all of you.

I didn't notice who else in the commercial got slimed because I wasn't really paying attention to the commercial until I heard, "I don't know." I also see no mention of YCDTOTV on the VH1 site and no commercial for it. Just watch VH1 for a little while and I'm sure you'll see the commercial. They've been promoting this show pretty heavily.

Ok, I finally found the air date for it: Premiering Monday-Friday, October 24 - 28 AT 9PM Eastern Each Night

That kind of sucks. I didn't want to have to wait that long to see it. I wonder which year they'll stick it in?

My guess will be 1986. That's the year the show was probably the most popular as well as the year that Alanis Morisette appeared. Clips will probably consist of the 3 shows that Nick has aired over the last few years (Enemies, Parties, Rock Music).

The way I remember the series the first 2 times around, this is what VH1's general first-run schedule will be like:

Monday, 1980 and '81
Tuesday, 1982 and '83
Wednesday, 1984 and '85
Thursday, 1986 and '87
Friday, 1988 and '89

Hopefully, YCDTOTV should get more than just a few short clips...hopefully! :P

The other two slimees, at least in the commercial, are Alyson Hannigan and Weird Al.
