Cool find! I'll download those this evening out of curiosity. Do they update with new episodes regularly?

No, these are just donated episodes that have been digitized. And it appears that these are two of the five or so episodes that Nickelodeon owns the rights to. It looks like Nickelodeon, not CJOH, donated these, and therefore the archive probably doesn't have more YCDTOTV episodes.

I always thought Nickelodeon might have only owned the rights to Pop Music, Enemies/Paranoia, and Parties, if they owned any episodes at all.

When I went to the Museum of TV and Radio in New York City a few years back, they did have a YCDTOTV episode on file. It was War. I don't really know if these are donated by Nickelodeon, or just considering public until someone cries about it... which, in Carleton Productions' case, will be never.[/i]

They appear to be taken from master tapes of the episodes, so someone involved with the show had to have donated them.

Maybe we can contact the museum and see if they can help us out with airdates and episode numbers for the episode guide?

I haven't watched them yet, but why do you think they appear to be from master tapes?

I haven't watched them yet, but I skimed them and they both look like they were simply taken from standard VHS tapes... Either that or it's just the downloading quality.

I wouldn't trust those airdates...it said that Fame aired in January 1983 - which is wrong. I believe it first aired in January 1984 ( but had an 83 copyright).

ESP did, however, first air on Nick around July of 84 so I guess that one's right more or less.

I do question the source, though. I, too, was having a hard time figuring out if these came from the masters or from someone's video collection.
