What was with the 1985 end credit music?

Why was the end music for the identity crisis episode different from the one used in every other season? Come to think of it, i recall this variation being used in world records as well. Would this different music be used throughout the season, and if so, why?

While I don't know the reasons exactly, the first 5 episodes from the 1985 season featured the alternate theme music. Those 5 episodes are Outer Space, Wildlife & Animals, Identity Crises, World Records and Optimism/Pessimism.

And also in the 1982 Ripoffs episode when the credits started to roll in the beginning of the show... that was the alternate theme as well. I never realized that till I saw that episode.
