Christine's Audition

I decided to come out of lurking mode once again (I used to be Senator Lance Prevert like 5 years ago but finding the password for that name would require some dumpster diving for data storage devices at my former institution. Anyway, I just had to come back because I thought y'all who didn't make it to Slimecon would be interested in this video:

Does anyone else feel a little uneasy that this is on YouTube? Not so much for rarity's sake, but because this almost seems like posting someone's home movies without their permission?
I'm assuming that this was shot by Troy, because I think he was the only other person at Slimecon 2002 with a video camera. So I can't claim ownership of this particular footage, but I would like to say that I filmed this audition tape, too, when they showed it at Slimecon, and I did copy it for a few people who didn't get to go. But I would feel bad if the footage that I shot wound up on YouTube because I really had no right to film this audition tape when they showed it, and as glad as I am to have a copy of it, I felt really bad a couple days later when I thought about it enough. Why? As I said, this was simply because I wouldn't feel comfortable if footage shot of me when I was 15 that was intended for only a couple of people to see was suddenly out there in internetland for *everyone* to see.
But that's just me, I can't speak for Christine. However, I do think whoever posted this should've at least *tried* to get her permission before posting it on YouTube. (Maybe they did, for all I know, and maybe she even said "Oh, yeah, go ahead and post it", but given how she reacted to this tape being shown at SC02, I somewhat doubt it. At least that I saw. I dunno.)

Makes me somewhat uneasy, yes. As I recall, Geoff Darby brought this tape up and shared it with the crowd as sort of a surprise - but it was really something for the people there, and not necessarily to be shown to the world. I don't think it was even on the SC 02 DVD.
I don't think she reacted badly to it when it was shown, mind you - on the contrary, I think she was pretty cool about seeing the video. But I personally wouldn't want that posted online, were it me - at least not without getting my approval for it.
Yeah, we definitely need to get this taken down.

This was the response to the possibility of including screen tests on the Doctor Who DVDs - "Would *you* want the whole world to see your failed job interview?"
Actually, I believe Christine did get the job.
In the Doctor Who example - several screen tests for various actors existed in addition to the guy that got the job in the end - hence "failed job interviews"
