I'm 26, and I remember watching in 1990. Nickelodeon played the reruns like crazy around that time too!

29, totally remember these being on in the daytime in the summer, while old british episodes of "Who's Line Is It Anyway?" played on Comedy Central and old NFL Films videos played on ESPN.

68 I was a 4th/5th Grade teacher and I shamelessly used bits from YCDTOTV in the classroom. AND-whenever I sighed and said, "Where does the school board get them?" the entire class would chant, "And WHY do they send us to YOU!" Good memories!

Great anecdote, pawprivate. Welcome to the board! (message board, that is, not the school board)

It's interesting to me that there are 7 people here under 20......and this is coming from someone who discovered this board at the age of 12! But I was exposed to the show first because of its broadcast on Nick's anniversary in 1999, I don't think the show has been seen on US TV since 2004, so I'm curious how these young fans discovered the show....
"Without a song or dance, what are we? So I say 'Thank you for the music', for giving it to me...."

Good question. lol I'm surprised to see so many "Under 20s" in the list too. I mean, I'm pushing it and I'm going on 32, which means I didn't see the show from its beginning. I probably didn't watch it until about '85, but they still showed reruns of the earlier '81 seasons (I remembered Angie the Talking Doll and Rodney Helal for some reason before I revisited the series last year). Maybe they had older siblings who watched the show.
