I know the actors got paid for getting slimed but did they get paid for being watered too?
I never understood the horrible-ness of getting water dumped on you. I mean, getting slimed is bad, because it's gross and ..wel slimey(plus I always assumed in the fictional universe of ycdtotv, slime had some special properties to it that made it extra unpleasant for the kids, like it smelled bad or felt really gross) but getting watered would seem like it would be like taking a shower.
And yet moose, much like with her slime reactions, really seemed to dread and fear the water buckets. Maybe the water was extra cold, or felt really uncomfortable getting dumped on you when you were wearing clothing, or maybe the girls just hated it cause it ruined their (in moose's case fake) hair. In any case I wonder if christine hated getting watered in real life as much as she did fictionally.

You may recall that at the end of the Know-It-Alls episode, I had Matthew say "water" on purpose to wash the green slime off himself. So yes, it was less unpleasant than green slime. But it was still cold, and there was still the fact that you were often tricked into getting it dumped on you. It's the direct descendent of Judy Carne saying "Sock it to me" on Laugh-In.

And no, Christine didn't mind getting watered all that much. There were times when someone would write a sketch where she got slimed, and she would change it to where she got watered instead.

Edited to add: Oh, and yes, they got paid extra for getting watered, too. I think it was the same amount as the slime, but I could be wrong.

The best Moose water dumping was the 2nd water dumping in Drugs. It looked like water went around her fast.

Have you noticed in Sleep, Vanessa got the most shiniest water dumping. It looked so pretty.

Is that the one where Vanessa's wearing the nightcap and it bounces off the peak really hard, in all different directions? That's one of my favorites too.
