  • Adam Reid on SyFy's "Sanctuary"

I was watching the SyFy Channel series Sanctuary tonight, and was surprised to see Adam Reid! He's playing a bird-man con artist named Bruno. Did anyone else catch it?

Ah yes... very tricky, those Argentinians...

Could you tell if it was a recurring role, or just a one-time? I'll have to let my girlfriend know; she's the president of our apartment's Adam Reid fan club. (I like him too...) We'll be on the lookout, if you think he might reappear.
"Now me, I play for fortune
    And those velvet curtain calls
I've got a black limousine and two gentlemen
    Escorting me to the halls
And I'll play if you have the money
Or if you're a friend to me
    But the one-man band
    By the quick-lunch stand
    He was playing real good
    For free..."

I thought there was potential for him to come back, but if he does it probably wouldn't be this season.

It seems like Adam's been getting around lately. He also had a small guest part on Supernatural at the end of last season, and he was in a Hallmark TV movie (starring Winona Ryder) about the founding of AA and Al-Anon.

That's great news. He was really one of my favorites.

Adam Reid was a great performer and I like the eps he had a hand in writing as well.

Adam's character is back in tonight's Sanctuary season finale. If there's another season, maybe they'll bring him back again.

Adam Reid is a very tallented and intelligent person, you can tell just from his acting. I'm not sure how much of the 89's he wrote, and how much Kevin Ward and Roger Price wrote, but you can definately see his twisted sense of humor at times. The story of how he got on the show cements it. He's probably the best pure talent out of all the kids, and I'm glad he's getting plenty of work lately. He's been active the whole time, playing a big part in the Kids in the Hall movie, for instance.

If you ever have the chance, check out "I Didn't Do Anything," a hilarious short film he starred in. Definitely not to everyone's tastes, but hilarious...and deeply, deeply twisted.
