I also remember Nick playing the Monkees for a while. That was my other favorite show on Nick, aside from YCDTOTV. My 2 must see shows back in the day.

I forgot all about the Monkees. I watched that all the time. I also enjoyed Dennis the Menace.

The Monkees was one of my favorite shows. I saw a few episodes on some other channel about 6-10 years ago. I remember watching Inspector Gadget in 1987 every night at 7:30. As for Heathcliff, did it really start as late as the 90's? I was sure I used to watch it in 1988 or so. Does anyone remember Don't Just Sit There?

YCDTOTV was on 5 days a week beginning in June, 1984 when the first 1984 episodes began airing.

I loved Don't Just Sit There! Remember their band (Out of Order: Buck, Mike, Chris, and Ed). The kid that played the older brother on the show Boy Meets World got his start on that show. And, I still remember the episode where they went to the set of YCDTOTV and interviewed the cast. I have it on tape somewhere. If I ever find it, I'll upload it to youtube.

Oh yeah, I think the order was Mike, Buck, Chris, and Ed. Let me know if you upload that episode on YouTube; I'd love to see it.

The "kid" was Will Friedle. I didn't think anyone still had that DJST clip. Be great to see that again - Will got slimed if I remember correctly.

A little before my time. Or alot before my time, as such things o. Let's see, we didn't get cable until we moved to Virginia (as far as I know) becfause we couldn't get reception in the townhouse and couldn't put an ariel on the roof (Community association rules) which was, lets see, I was in second grade, 1986. And i didn't start watching YCDTOTV until sometime afterwards.

I'd like to see it, thought.

...and Viacom will yank it two days later.

I only have the part with Wil Friedle getting slimed. I know there was more to it.

The only thing I remember from the clip (which I don't think I've seen since shortly after I recorded it) was Jill Stanley being interviewed while sitting in the movie theater set seats. I know that Ted Wilson was interviewed as well, but I don't remember which set he was on. I'll have to go through my tapes and find it.
