Green Slime Balloon

A friend and I concocted "something awful in a balloon" last night. We put green slime in a balloon. Now, we're not entirely certain what to do with it, because neither of us really wants that stuff on us, but it seems a shame to waste this perfectly packaged... uhm, stuff. Whatever happens, I promise it will be captured on video, and probably youtubed, so stay tuned.

P.S.: I have a feeling I'm going to be the recipient of this in some manner. The other day I hit a water balloon with a baseball bat and it pretty much blew up in my face. Not so pleasant. Beginning to think G.S.Balloon was a bad idea...

Just a fair warning, one of the green slime recipies ferments and creates a gas that can cause high pressure and explode under certain circumstances.

I took a home a water bottle filled to the very top with green slime from SlimeCon 2004 hoping to keep it forever as a memory of the event. After a week or two later I noticed the bottom of the bottle was pushed out a bit. I went to open the bottle and *BOOM* Green slime went all over me and my bathroom walls. After conversing online with some of the other attendees that were there, I found out that I should have refrigerated the slime instead of keeping it at room temperature as I had done.

Not sure what recipe you used for yours, but even if you used the same one I did it should still be ok since the rubber can expand, just as long as you didn't overfill it. I would put it in the fridge anyway just to be on the safe side.

Something like that happened to me too. I can't remember all the details since I was 6 or 7 at the time, but I made some green slime. I left it outside for the night, and in the morning there was a huge mess in the backyard. What was your recipe? I can't remember mine.

flour + jello, jello as a coloring agent worked surprisingly well.

One balloon ended up in the refrigerator overnight, and it ended up chunking up a little bit.

My friend decided he was going to be sneaky and throw the balloon at me, and in my infinite wisdom I decided to try to catch it. I ended up slipping on the wet grass and catching entirely more of the balloon-o-nasty than I had hoped to. One of my shoes has two drips of hardened flourjello permanently attached.

Oh, and if left to it's own devices, it separates a little. Or at least it seems to.
